Raleigh’s World War II veterans to be honored with an exhibit at the City of Raleigh Museum on June 7

When: June 7th at 10 am.

Where: 220 Fayetteville St., Raleigh 

Male and female veterans featured in the museum’s “Our War: Voices of Raleigh’s World War 2 Veterans” exhibit are invited to a special appreciation ceremony and exhibit opening at 10 a.m.

Veterans from other wars also are welcome to attend. As June 6 is the 70th anniversary of D-Day, the ceremony will feature representatives of the French consulate and the mayor of Raleigh’s sister city in France, Compiegne.
